Utdanning for alle: Hva har vi oppnådd og hva skjer videre?

Norad, sammen med Den norske UNESCO-kommisjonen, Universitetet i Oslo, UNICEF Norge, GCE-Norge (Global Campaign for Education) og Voksenopplæringsforbundet, inviterer til internasjonal konferanse om utdanning. Konferansen går over to dager. 

• Mandag 27. april: 08.30-15.30

Under seminaret vil også den nyeste rapporten fra initiativet Utdanning for Alle (EFA Global Monitoring Report 2015) legges frem.

Rapporten oppsummerer fremskritt og utfordringer på utdanningsområdet. Hvor langt er vi kommet i å nå de ambisiøse målene som ble satt i Dakar i 2000 og reflektert i tusenårsmål 2 og 3?

Vi har kommet langt på vei på målet om at alle barn skal ha et grunnleggende utdanningstilbud. Men vi har ikke klart å nå alle. Hva må gjøres fremover for at vi ikke i år 2030 nok en gang skal lure på hvorfor de fattigste jentene på landbygda ikke går på skolen?

Millioner av flere barn går på skole, millioner flere fullfører og lærer. Men hva må nå til for at de 58 millionene som ikke går på skole, skal få skolegang? Og hva må til for at de som går på skole, faktisk lærer å lese?

Dette er noen av spørsmålene som vil bli drøftet under konferansen.
