NORAD, which had maintained a programme of development cooperation with various agencies and ministries in Botswana since the early 1970s, was in 1996 in the process of restructuring its activities in Botswana.
This evaluation has been commissioned to take stock of the achievements and problems of the period covered by Norwegian development assistance to Remote Area Development Programme (RADP). It also provides suggestions on future cooperation with regard to RADP in view of NORADs strategy for restructuring the relationship between the two countries.
