Handbook in gender and empowerment assessment

This is not a manual for conducting full scale gender and empowerment analysis of projects. Rather, it is a guide that will assist the user to identify the need for such analysis. The handbook does however provide guidelines for NORAD's requests for gender analysis at the various stages of the project cycle: project appraisal, appropriations, progress reporting, project reviews and evaluations.
